A book group that provides a facilitated discussion of titles of interest to veterans via Zoom or other similar platforms. Local college instructors or other qualified parties will be invited to facilitate, and authors can be invited when available. Books can be made available in digital and print format.
Variable. $500-$1,000 fee for the author. If necessary, any fees for the platform (Zoom, Teams, etc.). Basic Zoom is free but may not be secure. The cost of a monthly subscription is $14.99-$19.99 or $180-$240 for a year. Another variable is the cost of books digitally and in print. Distributors will negotiate short-term licenses at reasonable costs if the publisher is amenable. Total estimated budget: $1,200 with the author. Sample budget template provided.
Suggested frequency for virtual programs is bi-monthly, or otherwise planned to be recurring on a regular basis (monthly, etc.).

Zoom or like platform; a facilitator; access to print and digital copies of the book being discussed.
The members of the book group should pick the title but be provided with a list of titles to select from (provide bibliography).
